WEIGHT: I love working out and imagining I am thin and getting closer to my goal. But I also love eating delicious food. Tonight we ate at the Olive Garden. I had the chicken and 3 Cheese stuffed pansottis, salad and breadsticks. I LOVED every minute of eating it. When I was walking out to the car, I felt stuffed, and started feeling guilty. Why should I feel guilty about eating something I like? I didnt even finish it all gone! This got me thinking... Is it better to be at a weight you like, or enjoy the food you like and just accept the weight you are at? If I could chose, I would be about 10lbs lighter (all from my stomach and boobs), but would I give up all the yummy food that I love? No. So what am I going to do? I dont know!
Give up a little bit of the food and lose 5 lbs. That's a good compromise I think. From the tummy though not the boobs--are you crazy?! You keep the boobs and be grateful for them in honor of all us boobless women :)
ReplyDeletelol! well, when you have to buy from a specialty store for bras, its time to lose weight there. i so wish i could just walk into victorias secret and just buy a freaking bra, but i cant =(
ReplyDeleteEverything in moderation. Sure, eat what you love, but don't eat all the fatty yummy stuff everyday. And fall in love with stuff that's super yummy but healthy. It does exist. My mom bought me a counter top sprouter kit and now I am eat alfalfa sprouts like crazy!
ReplyDeleteAnd heck yeah, lose those boobies! I mean they're nice enough and all (not that I'm lezzing out on you or anything) but if they are uncomfortable and you can't find a bra, then forget what the boobless wonders say, work on losing them.
One thing I have learned over my weight loss experience is that you can not deprive yourself. A little indulgence here and there (as long as you don't go crazy) is ok. It is when you deprive yourself that you fall off the wagon...hard.
ReplyDeleteBut I also hate when girls at your weight complain about 10 pounds. Seriously? Courtney you know I love you (and you also know that I'm blunt *wink*) but let it go. Be thankful that you were not me 8 months ago and 60+ pounds heavier. (I weigh in today at my doc so I'll know my total this afternoon).
As long as you are working out then you should be able to indulge here and there and not gain weight. Don't feel guilty!
And you are beautiful my friend! And I totally know your pain on the big boobs thing. Story of my life ;)
ReplyDeleteAfter I loose all my weight I'm totally having a lift done.
hmmmmmm let me know when you figure it out lol!
