Count My Blessings

When times get tough, sometimes its hard to see the light. So instead of focusing on the negative, I have decided to find the good in my life.

I have the best husband! He really hears what I am saying and always tries to make me happy. This morning he let me sleep in and he took the kids to IHOP for breakfast. I have really be needing a break and that exactly what I got! And he only got three hours of sleep last night!

I found this picture that Rhett and I took when we were just dating. I found it when I was cleaning last night. It made me stop and remember the reasons why I married him. Sometimes when you have been married for 6 years (or more) you forget about that. You get wrapper up in every day, money, finances, kids, work, and you forget the simple reasons why you fell in love. Finding that picture really helped me reevaluate what it was I love about him.

I am so glad my kids are healthy and how sweet Kylee and Luke are. They may annoy me at times with their constant noise, but they are truly sweet and loving. I am so grateful for Rhetts great job, which supports our family and gives us a roof over our head. In these times of trouble, I dont have to worry about if Rhett is going to keep or loose his job. The government takes good care of us.

I have seriously amazing friends. I recently talked to a friend I havent seen in almost 6 years. She has helped me get out of my darkest days, even when we used to be roommates! God has given me some amazing people in my life to help me, even if its not the way I expect help.

I am so grateful for the power of music. Its been such a saving grace in my life. It helps me stop and breath, or dance, or relive a wonderful memory.

I am grateful for the North West. Its so amazingly beautiful up here! People are so friendly up here and helpful. I think I am becoming a little "hippy." Its nice to see life in a different light. I am grateful for the wonderful weather we have been having, for the opportunities I have been given.

May you take a minute and count YOUR blessings.

SOOOO Busy!!!

I got a job at the gym and work ten hours a week, but last week I trained every single day. I love it. Its nice to get out of the house some times and meet new people. I found someone who is willing to train me for free on my photography (a friend of mine from the gym). Thursday is my first lesson and needless to say I am so excited! I have been getting my butt kicked at the gym and I am one sore mom! We have also been packing whenever there is time for it. We move into our new place next week. This one should be a little more stable and secure (at least for two years). We are one busy family right now. I feel like there is no free time =( But soon we should have our schedule all out for the weeks to come and hopefully things will start to settle down once we are moved in. Please keep our family in your prayers.

Another LOOOONG blog!

So as most of you know we got back from Roswell and are now in Washington. It took fourloooooong days to get back home. The last day was the worst because we were stopped in traffic because someone thought there would be an avalanche. Needless to say there wasnt andavalanche and we waisted four hours of our life sitting in the car. Although, we might have gotten some cool pictures along the way.

When we first got home, it felt as though we had never left, as if Roswell was just a dream and that it never really happened. But I know its not a dream because I miss my friends way too much! I think about them every single day and wish they could all just move up here with us. I feel so blessed to have met such amazing people who have touched my life forever. I do have to say that I love being back here in WA though. This is definitely my home.

I also got a job at the gym I used to work out at before we left. I am at the front desk and I love it. I get to see all the people I used to see at the gym and the wonderful staff as well. I am excited to meet new people and make new friends.

My sister and brother in law were staying with us until Thursday and we got to do some cool stuff. We went to Pike's Place market in Seattle and the "Tulip" Festival. I put that in quotations because in actuality they were daffodils because the tulips havent bloomed yet. It was hard to see them go because we all love having them around. We are so grateful that Mike is a part of our family. He fits right in with the rest of us. Our next big trip with them in Disneyland in October, but hopefully they will be able to come and visit for the summer.

Now that I dont have any company, I have been doing some deep cleaning in our house. By deep cleaning I mean getting rid of stuff and preparing for yet another garage sale. As much as I hatepreparing for them, I love the money they bring in. LOL

So here are some pictures- they are not in oder of events, but enjoy anyhow!
