Happy Halloween!

Here are some photos of this afternoon. Kylee cant wait to trick-or-treat tonight. She cam to me with her costume this morning and wanted to wear it all day. Crazy girl. She did get 1/2 of her flu shot this afternoon and did really well! She cried, but was brave and I am so proud of her, too! She got some MnM's after so that made her stop crying.

Coincidence????

Every time I look at Luke, I see Uncle Fester from The Adams Family movie(minus the dark circles under the eyes). You can decide for yourself.

So Much To Talk About!

So my family has all left wen we still have two and a half weeks left here. Now I just have to post whats been going on.
We have had so much fun at D-Land! We even saw Adam Sandler on our first day! I got a pic to prove it, too! Bono was there, but we never saw him. We had our share of pickles, churros and frozen bananas (my favorite). I apologize ahead of time for all the pictures and videos. I do hope you enjoy them.

Luke's first plane ride... hes looking kind of unsure.

Kylee and Allie rode the Chip n' Dale roller coaster. They are up in the front row. Kylee was also able to ride the Matterhorn. She was just short by 1 1/2 inches of riding all the cool rides with us. Maybe in the next visit.

My family made fun of me for taking picture of their back, but thats only because this was what I saw everywhere we went. They like to leave me behind and walk infront of me all the time. If I got lost, they wouldnt have known where to find me, cos I was always behind them (and not by choice)

I love seeing Kylee with Disney characters, because she thinks that they are truly real and she gets so darn excited. Its so cute!!!

the picture below was taken right after all of us were completely drenched from the water ride at California Adventures. Thats a funny story to tell, which I will tell later on.

this video is of kylee playing musical chairs. i am not sure if she knew what she was doing.

this video was taken at California Adventures in the Bugs Life area. Kylee had a blast playing in the water.

We Made It!

So we finally made it to California! And it feels great to be home, I must say. We are three days into our trip, and already we've done so much. We arrived Thursday night and Friday we went to Disneyland. Yesterday we made a trip to see some family in Oceanside and then had a surprise birthday bash for my brother Jordan.
The flight over wasnt too bad. Kylee was actually pretty well behaved. Luke fussed alot, but I think its because of the pressure up there.
I will update with pictures later.

California- Here I Come!!!

So I was planning on going to California for a week to be with my sister on her birthday and go to Disneyland with her. Then Rhett found out that he's going to be training in Artesia New Mexico for 2 weeks starting the 3rd, and since I dont like being alone and given that I would already be down in California, I decided to stay there for another two weeks. This gives me an opportunity to go see my friends, family and maybe check on my house (which still hasnt sold!). I am so excited!!! If anyone wants to get together, please let me know. =) I leave in two days!!!!

Updates

Luke got his 4 month shots yesterday, and did quite well. Hes 12.5 pounds and is still in the 10th percentile for his weight. The doctor said he looks very healthy and is doing everything a 4 month old should do. I asked how long I can hold off on solid foods, and he said that I can start around 4 to 6 months, and that if start any later, I will miss my window. Right now Luke is putting everything in his mouth and after 6 months, that can change. I hesitate in starting him on solids just because it means that my baby is getting big =( I love my little pumkin' and it makes me sad how fast he's growing. So thats that!

I am also excited to announce that my mother in law is moving out here the beginning of next month! She finally sold her house in Idaho, and we are really looking forward to having her up here with us!

Babies

It amazes me how simple a babies life is. You smile at them and they smile at you or laugh back. There is so much to learn from babies.

As Promised

I said I would post more pictures of Kylee at swimming, so here they are. She is doing so well! They have started teaching her how to breath to the side and backstroke. shes really good at swimming and kicking, but doesnt really use her arms to swim. I over heard some lady talk about how good Kylee was and how good she was for her age. I just smiled. She holds her breath for so long under the water, sometimes its scary! I am hoping she'll be a swimmer like her mommy. That would make me sooo very happy.

Some updates on Luke: Hes still not sleeping through the night. Although he does have some nights that he will sleep 7 hours straight (not enough though). He talks and coos all the time. Rhett and I have found his ticklish spots! Hes starting to giggle. He still eats about 4-5 ounces . We go in for his shots in two weeks, so I will update more then. Now for some more pictures to make daddy proud (I'm talking about the Raiders picture for anyone who doesnt know Rhett's obsession)...

And Lastly... Our ward Relief Society had a Super Saturday where we made a bunch of crafty stuff, and I made some REALLY... and I mean REALLY... easy table runners. Here is mine I made. They were so dang easy, I made 2 more the next day in one hour before church!

Breaking The Bank

I am so sad to say that we have taken Kylee out of school because of how expensive it is =( It breaks my heart because she is doing so well and LOVES that school, but its so ridiculously expensive and we still havent sold our house in Arizona. She is still enrolled in swimming and I will post pictures soon.

ABBA Time

So for the last month, I have been listening to Mamma Mia and Kylee has really picked up on it. She knows all the songs (at least humming them) and asks for them all the time. The song she loves the most is "Money, Money, Money," except she says "mommy, mommy, mommy."
