Bath Time Buddy

Luke loves taking baths! He just splashes and kicks around. He was especially cute tonight... He just stared up at me with that cute little face. Oh how I wish he could stay this small and sweet. He's starting to grow in new hair on top, so its all just peach fuzz.

Finally A Smile!

Luke is 6 weeks this week, and hes been so alert and has become more vocal, too. He smiled for the first time Saturday. He gets so spoiled with love from everyone, including his big sister.

We Found Nemo!

Today we went to Seattle to pick Kylee up from Becca's house. We all decided it would be fun to go to the Aquarium while we were down there. After several hours (okay, maybe just a half hour or so) of searching for parking, we went to see the fishies. It was really neat! Kylee loved seeing all the fish. Luke slept most of the time, and Rhett witnessed Sea Otters mating (he said it was a little gross... but funny). We had a fun little adventure today.

Date "Knight"

So while Kylee is away at Auntie Becca's, Rhett and I thought it would be fun to have a date and go see a movie. We both agreed on "The Dark Knight." VERY GOOD! I found the Joker to be very disturbing and creepy. It was a great action packed movie, but I was a little behind on parts 'cos it did move pretty quickly. Altogether I would say it was 4 1/2 stars out of 5. Not sure how I will sleep tonight though. It makes me sad that such an amazing actor died, too. All throughout the movie thats all I could think about. I guarantee he's going to steal all the best supporting actor awards. PS- Luke slept through the entire movie!!! He did squeak here and there and grunt a few times, but thats to be expected from a loud baby like himself.

Week 1 of Weight Watchers

So I went to weigh in today and I have lost 3 1/2 pounds!!! I am so excited. I have been really enjoying cooking again with the fun recipes from WW. Lets hope on Saturday the scale will give me good results again...

Some Quiet Time

Kylee's Aunt Becca took her for a few days, and I have been trying to get some things done around the house... along with catching up on some scrapbooking. I love scrapbooking, weather its digital or the old fashioned way. Anyhow, its been really quiet around here without Kylee asking "Why?" all the time. I keep thinking maybe shes taking her nap or something. Its kind of tripping me out! But I do miss my sweet little girl and all her help around the house and with "baby wuke."

Day @ The Zoo

Grandma Joy was visiting over the weekend, so we thought it would be fun to go to the Seattle Zoo. The last time any one of us has been to the Zoo was when Kylee was just a month old. It was fun to see all the animals. Its was a beautiful day (a little humid and breezy, though). It was also a pretty large Zoo. We kept getting lost (even with the map- ha!). I just made a scrapbook about it. Enjoy!

For Goodness Sakes!

The other day I was letting Bowby, our 2 1/2 year old Boxer out to go to the bathroom. Luke started crying so I turned my back for one second and Bowby ran off. This has happened before, except that he always comes back when we yell his name. To clarify a little bit, we don't have a yard because we are renting a condo, so the only "yard" we have is right in front on a small patch of grass. Bowby ended up two blocks away in someones backyard. Thank goodness they were honest and called us (our numbers are on Bowby's collar). I am still a little scared to let him out now.

Its Official

I went to my first Weight Watchers meeting today. Its crunch time to loosing these pounds! Now to go shopping for food.... scarrrry!

I didn't want to blog... AT ALL! I already have a myspace, facebook and send frequent emails... but I figured this would be a great way for me to just post pictures and have people come check them out instead of emailing everyone every time I got new pictures. Plus it is a great way to keep everyone posted on what we are all up to here in Washington. But... I am ashamed I have started blogging. Just know that its for you! ;)
