Hacked Account & A Merry Christmas

The other morning I got a call from a friend letting me know my account was hacked into. I received many more calls that day from friends and family about my account on Gmail and Facebook.. I finally got access to it TODAY, but sadly, ALL my emails and addresses have been deleted. This is my LIFE they messed with, not just a simple email account. I am heart broken and it has pretty much, sadly, ruined my Christmas for me. I hate to even say that, but I feel devastated! Last year our car was broke into, now my email and Facebook have gotten broken into. What the heck people?!

I am so so sorry that you all got crazy emails from "me." I am safe at home with my family, not in the U.K. I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!

I have changed my password and would advice all of you to make sure you always sign out of your accounts and have different passwords for all your accounts. I pray this doesn't happen to any of you! Its just sick and wrong that someone would do something like this.

November

I realize its been a while since my last post. I hear about it everyday from my sister, mom and grandma. I am still trying to catch up on my professional blog, too! December has slowed down so much and its been great to have such a nice break. Although, I am excited to get back to work next month. I am hoping that next year will be even more successful and busy for me as this year has been.

So, last month was a busy month. I went to visit my sister and my cutest niece in the whole world in Utah the week before Thanksgiving. We had our own little thanksgiving while I was there with the whole family and some friends. More than anything, I really enjoyed spending time with my sister and my baby niece ALL BY MYSELF! No kids or anything.
When I got back from Utah, we had Thanksgiving and Rhett ran his very first half marathon!!!! He did so well and we are all so very proud of him. He is already planning his second half marathon next year. I think he's nuts.

Let It Snow

I went to Utah for a week to spend some time with my sister and my baby niece. The first night we were there we celebrated Thanksgiving with everyone. Later that week we put up Christmas decorations and the Christmas tree. So much fun!!!

Most people know Remee is a spit up queen, so I thought this picture was pretty funny.

When I got home from my trip, it had snowed a ton in Bellingham, along with lots of black ice. Monday night was probably the worst, though, since the winds were so high. It seriously almost knocked me over! The kids still had fun in the snow. It made me realize we needed better snow gear though.

New Stuff

I promised my sister I would post more, and since I am always on Facebook I always feel like I am posting, but I guess its just not on here.

So here are a few new things that are going on around here.

Luke LOVES chewing gum. He will chew it all day long!

When the kids watch TV, any time an add comes on Luke will say "I want that" over and over and over again. (He learned this from watching his sister)
Luke has learned to climb up on stuff using chairs and stools. This picture below was the day after Halloween and I had woken up to him with chocolate all over his face and shirt. I just laughed!

Rhett, Kylee and I were on the bed in a wrestle/tickle fight and Luke came in and said "hey, what you guys doing in here?" I love that he's speaking in sentences now! They're so cute!

Kylee is still loving riding her bike all the time. Seriously, it doesnt matter if its snowing or raining or freezing cold, she will ride her bike!

Kylee got a fat lip at school the other day when they were at PE and she fell on one of those hard mats.
Thursday she will start a program at the local gymnastics place for a mini cheerleading activities. I'm excited because its not going to cost and arm and a leg and it'll be for an hour!
We have a new neighbor moving in and they have a little girl who is Kylee's age. They get along so well! Cloe is a little more shy but is the cutest thing. We actually just discovered that our new neighbor works right next to Rhett at work. Too funny.

Rhett is planning on running a half marathon November 28th in Seattle.

I am planning on attending WPPI in February so I have been saving for that. I am also excited to announce that I bought a spread in the Pacific Coast Wedding book! I hope that this will help jump start my business come next year. I couldn't be more excited!

So, thats about it for now... Oh yeah, I almost forgot- I'M COMING TO UTAH ON THE 16TH!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its only for 4 days, but I will be by myself and spending time with my sister and little niece!!! I am so excited!

OCTOBER 31ST

So Halloween was fun.

Friday we had a Halloween party at the Birchwood Presbyterian church where I go to MOPS. They had trick-or-treating there, food and games. They even had a fun maze that the kids enjoyed crawling around in.

Saturday I had a party I went to for a friend. I dressed as Rachel Berry from Glee. I loved my costume. I bought everything from Value Village! So fun!!!

Sunday we got some food at a local gas station who was giving out free hot dogs and drinks and then headed over to Rache;s house before we headed out trick-or-treating. I was done after about an hour. Luke was so tired he kept yawning and was wobbling as he walked. I dropped Rhett and Kylee off at the end of our road so they could continue TOT and Luke and I headed home.

They kids have a TON of candy! Too bad I didnt take a picture of it.

YES- that is chocolate on Luke's face. He wouldn't get his hands or face out of the candy bag!

AHHH!

Yes, I know its been a while (sorry everyone!).

Really only a few updates.

I have gotten super busy this month with photoshoots... Between families and High School Seniors, I am booked. I couldnt be happier either. This is exactly where, and what, I want to be. I am nervous for next month because I only have two bookings as of now. I am hoping to go visit my sister sometime next month because I miss her and my baby niece like CRAZY!

Luke is obsessed with putting socks on his hands. Doesnt matter if they are clean or dirty, he puts them on and will use his hands with the socks on them to do stuff. Its gross and hilarious at the same time. I'll be sure to get pictures of it.

Kylee is obsessed with riding her bike. It doesnt matter if its raining, freezing outside or hotter than hell, she'll be outside riding her bike. I love our new neighborhood!

Thats about it. I will post sometime after Halloween to show you the cute costumes.

Growing Up

So we have NO pictures on our walls, and you all know how much I love pictures. So I have been going through all our old pictures to find stuff to put on our wall (most of the pictures on the wall are of Kylee and some of Luke, but only when he was a newborn). So I thought it was time to do some updating and put more recent photos of Luke and the family up.
I am really done having kids, but when I see pictures of my little boy it brings me to tears... seriously. I just adore him and loved when he was a little baby. Dont get me wrong, I love him now cos he is so goofy and sweet and silly, but I just really loved when he was a baby. He was so stinkin' cute and weird looking. I miss him when we was little. I start thinking about having another baby, and then I bring myself back to reality and realize that they all grow up and they dont stay a baby for long. And just for those of you who may be wondering if we ARE having another baby, the answer is HELL NO! Two is too many for me. One more would be PURE INSANITY!!!
So in the meantime, lets all take a look at my little buddy when he was just a few months old.

this one below is my favorite. he is just so precious!

New Beginnings

Its funny to me when I see mothers crying when they drop their kid off for the first day of Kindergarten. I was so excited for Kylee to start, if I did cry, it would have been tears of joy! This isn't at all me being mean, its just that she has been ready for school for a long time now. The social, structural and physical part of school is what I think she looks forward to most. In fact, she wasn't the least bit nervous. I think it helps that she has a such rad, super sweet teacher. I couldn't be more excited to see how this year is going to go. She already knows some of the kids in her class from the gym daycare.

I also want to add that we are LOVING where we are at! The school is a short walking distance, we live in a cul-de-sac and we have the BEST neighbors you could ask for! Kylee has already made several friends here. Some that are younger and older than her. Either way she now has someone to play with. We feel incredibly blessed to live in such a great neighborhood and city.

This little guy is moving from his "Yo Gabba Gabba" phase right into Dora, Mickey Mouse and Elmo phase. I have to say I am so sad, because I really enjoy watching YGG with him.

On the beautiful walk home. I'm borrowing a friends 70-200 lens. Its AMAZING!

I know this looks bad. I promise you we are not white trash! Kylee put this jacket of hers on her little brother. I just thought it looked so funny.

Our super sweet neighbors have an 8 year old Kylee plays with. They frequently sell flowers, water and juice on the trail next to the house to travelers. These flowers were left over and they kindly gave them to us.
My little Kylee is growing up! She's making PB&J sandwiches ALL BY HERSELF! i seriously couldn't be more proud of her!

This is what happens when you dont blog in a long time...

...you get one LOOOOOONG blog post! I apologize ahead of time.

So, before I went on a minor hiatus, I think we left off with my sister and nice in town visiting.

The first day (or maybe it was the second day) my sister and I went to a yard sale right up the street from my house and found two side tables for $5 each (they were actually a bit more, but my sister is the queen of bargaining). I am embarrassed to say that I have been married 7 1/2 years and have never had a headboard or side tables... Two down, one to go!

Anyway, we went to The Home Depot and bought some sand paper and spay paint and some new knobs for the drawers. Within a couple hours we had 2 new bedside drawers. My sister did most of the work (she enjoys it, just ask her) but I did do my share of spray painting. My arms hurt for a week after from doing it, too!

Then a couple days later my mother came to visit too. I always love when my mom comes to visit because all we do is laugh and have a blast together. It was a triple wammie with my mom AND sister being in town! I was in pure Heaven.

We went to the Northwest Fair (otherwise known as the Lynden Fair). My fantastic, sweet, and beautiful friend Lindsey came along with us. We forgot the stroller for Luke and by the end of the trip there, he was in Remee's stroller because he kept running off. He's my curious little monkey.

At the end of the week, my sister, mom and myself went to Oregon for my cousins wedding. You can see some of the pictures here.

MOST OF THESE PICTURES ARE STRAIGHT OUT OF THE CAMERA. I DIDNT HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO EDIT ALL OF THEM. I'M SORRY THAT THEY ARENT MY HIGHEST QUALITY.

no, thats not my baby in the frame. allie was using the frame (which i make and sell) for display purposes only

this picture makes me laugh. it looks like the kid is looking at the cows butt, but in reality, he's looking around the cow. bad angle i guess.

i thought this pony had funny looking bangs. totally out of style! lol

we told luke and kylee to put their hands under their chins. this is what luke did:
my mom was saying "the cows say 'moo.'" i love lukes face! priceless.
okay, so let me explain. luke has learned how to crawl out of his crib. i had already put him down several times and finally just gave up after a while. whe he gets out he'd sit at the top of the staircase or at the middle landing. i forgot that i knew he had gotten out and when i went to go check on the kids before bed (around 11pm or so), this is what i found. so precious!
