The other day Kylee was playing her computer games while I took a shower and Rhett was getting ready. When Rhett got out to check on Kylee she handed him a chunk of hair. He warned me not to freak out (he knows me so well) and when I came to look, I pretty much did! Kylee had CUT her hair- luckily its in a spot that is easy to hide with a ponytail.
This last week has been so freaking hot! Even Bowby slept on the floor where it was cooler. I dont blame him. Sometimes I felt like sleeping on the floor! We put Luke in our room for a couple nights because his room upstairs was so hot and didnt cool off during the night. We spend those couple of days driving around just so that we could have some A/C!
(below ) I was watching the kids take a bath and Kylee was hugging Luke and said "mom- go get your camera and take a picture! Take a picture mom!"
My haircut. Too long in the front, too short in the back. I asked her to cut it so could put it back in a ponytail... but thats a no go =( Also, I cant get my hair to look like what it does in the picture. Therefor, I hate it!
Don pay attention to my face. I am having really bad breakouts lately, so I am on medication and hopefully that will go away.
On one of the very hot days, the family, including the in-laws went to lake Paddon. The water was cold, the sun was hot and we had a great time catching up on celebrity gossip via trashy magazines. Luke loves to pretend to talk on the phone.

For Rhetts 30th birthday, his family got him Indians/ Mariners tickets. Rhett was super excited but was incredibly excited even more after the game was over because they SPANKED the Mariners! It was a little embarrassing when they would have home-runs because everyone EXCEPT Rhett was booing. Rhett would stand up and clap and I think there was a guy that would tell him to sit his "ass" down. We enjoyed the yummy food and the songs. I remembered how fun it is to go to a game, except afterwords when you are stuck in traffic for an hour!
We got the biggest kick out of this moose. It would do the weirdest stuff! We laughed so hard at him!

I think your haircut is cute! I can understand how ya feel though if you were trying to grow it out. Usually with most people their hair grows faster in the back than the front, so maybe that will be you! :)
ReplyDeleteI think your hair looks really cute! I feel your pain though. I cut my hair short a year and a half ago and was not happy with how it looked! And I could never make it do what I wanted it to do. Plus, I just don't have the face for short hair. You really do look great with short hair though. I'm sure it's a bummer not to be able to put it in a ponytail, but that will change fairly soon I bet. And, your skin looks good in the pictures. I've struggled a bit with acne too. I hope the meds work for you. Thank goodness for makeup huh?

You hair looks cute, but that does suck you can't put it up. I guess it's motivation to do your hair more often. Kylee is a stinker. I can't believe she cut her hair! Oh well, it will grow back. Miss you... I got the camera today so thanks.

ReplyDeleteI like your haircut so there :P I guess I should have told you that all Kylee's cut their hair...I did when I was 4. Mom CRIED when she found out and every time she looked at me for 2 weeks. At least your Kylee's haircut can be hidden. I cut a Mohawk from my forehead to not quite the crown of my head and it was a good inch wide. Nice look huh? Be grateful she only cut a chunk!!
