I'm officially obsessed
So am sure you all have read the Twilight series and even seen the movie, except me. I am not much of a book reader, but the story interested me enough to let my sister tell me all about it. When the movie came out it wasnt one that I felt I had to see, but a group of ladies from my new ward invited me to see it with them. I have heard mixed reviews but all by people who have read the books, so I wasnt sure what to expect. The first half hour or so, I was rolling my eyes and not thinking I was going to enjoy the rest of the film... But then there was more! Yes, I left the theatre obsessed and wanting more. I didnt sleep at night because I couldnt stop thinking about the movie! As much as I loved the movie though, I felt Edward wasnt that great of an actor... but I am truly hoping he gets enough coaching and more experience that by the time the next film comes around it will be better. I also felt the special effects were a little goofy and hopefully with the bigger budget on the next film I wont be laughing or rolling my eyes at it. So you can count me in on this craze and obsession everyone else is in... I am wanting to read the books, so if anyone wants to lend them out give me a shout!

uh huh.... What did I tell you? You are offically in the Twilight zone! Ha ha. Just wait till you start reading the books. They are ten times more addicting. Next thing you know you will be asking Rhett if he loves you as much as Edward loves Bella and then you will want him to pretend to be a vampire. Just you wait honey, it has only just begun.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad to hear that you are obsessed! You won't even believe how bad it gets once you start reading the books. You LIVE in that world and Edward is so wonderful. I'm hoping the next movie has better acting and special effects too!
ReplyDeleteIf you liked the movie you most certainly are going to LOVE the books. The movie is the story on the surface - the books delve into ALL the fun and juicy stuff... Bella's thoughts. she is so detailed. Be ready to ignore your life for a few days, they are addicting!!
ReplyDeleteI loved the movie but I am corny like that. I read the first book and didn't get hooked so I think I will just wait for the next movie!
ReplyDeleteI totally agree about the movie. I left feeling the same way you did. During parts I was thinking "are you kidding me? Is that supposed to be impressive?" I saw it again with my sister and we quote all the badly written or badly delivered lines. Yet I still can't help but love it. It's a guilty pleasure. :) I hope you're enjoying the books!
