This was Kylee's last week of summer school. It was sad to say good-bye to some of her teachers who wont be back in the fall... Like Miss Sarah (pictured below). This is also Kylee's first week of swim lessons. When we got there, we had her in level 2, but after just a few minutes of being there, the teacher told us she should be in the 3rd class because she was quite advanced. Kylee was alittle excited and didnt really follow instructions that well. But the second day she went, she was much better behaved. Shes such a great swimmer and isnt afraid of anything!
On Tuesday my mom came out to visit for a few days. On Thursday we went to the local Northwest Fair. Rhett was working at it so we wanted to go by and see him too. Kylee wasnt afraid of any of the animals. She just went right up and touched them! I swear that girl belongs on a farm! We had such a fun day, despite the heat.
Saturday I went to my Weight Watchers meeting and I have lost 10 lbs total in 5 weeks! I have joined a gym and am taking this kick a$$ class called "weights for women," where a personal trainer takes a small group of ladies and works them until they can not be worked any more! Its painful, but fantastic! It just makes me realize that gaining weight is easy, but loosing it isnt... therefor its very motivating to eat well... with my occasional Ben and Jerry's Cherry Garcia. LoL! =)
So there you have it! Our week. Oh, I almost forgot the Sears portraits! We went in Thursday night to take pictures of Kylee and Luke. Luke was good for a while, but Kylee was not cooperating with us. If the lady asked her to smile, she would do this totally cheesy fake smile or cross her eyes or something. Then she wasnt keeping still. She kept wanting to uncross her legs or take her shoes off or whatever. So we decided t come back the next day and try again...Which wasnt any more successful. She is just impossible sometimes. But we didn manage to get some cute photos of her and Luke.
Luke has been smiling and talking like crazy this last week! Hurray!!!! Hes so sweet and adorable and we are just loving him so much!!!

ReplyDeletecourt, I must say that I am so happy to see that you are happy. You just have this glow about you and I know that you are enjoying every bit of your life now. I'm so glad you moved, I think it was the best thing you could have ever done! I love you so mucha dn thank you for posting more pics. You know this the only way I get to see Luke and Kylee really so thank you. I miss you terribly and wish I could just drive a short distance to come see you. Maybe in the future that will happen. Can't wait to see you in a couple weeks.XOXO

So cute. I just knew that you would get into it. The same thing happened to me. I thought it was lame and then all the sudden I was playing with it all the time. So yeah, we both got suckered in.
