New Moon!!!! (NO SPOILERS)

First I want to start by saying that there will be no spoilers. I am writing this for those skeptics or people who wouldn't normally see the movie. I am also writing this so can have some piece of mind and for those fantastic Twilight fans (like myself)!

Last night at 6:30 I stood in line to see a double feature: Twilight and then New Moon at midnight. I was so excited, I couldn't stand it! The books mean so much to me and they are so close to my heart, New Moon especially is my favorite one. I met some girls at the front of the line, one of them I had already met at MOPS but didn't recognize her (boy, did I feel stupid). We had fun talking about our thoughts on Twilight and other Twilight stuff. I made some amazing friends I look forward to keeping in touch with. One of them was another photographer who has offered to help me!

Lets just cut to the chase!
When the movie started, my heart felt like it would pop out of my chest! Twilight was a great movie and holds a special place in my heart, but when I first saw it, it was kind of a joke and didn't really like the acting very much. I had problems with the changes that Katherine Hardwick made to the movie from the story. NOT THE CASE IN NEW MOON! BRAVO Christ Weitz (not sure if I am spelling his name correctly) for keeping to the book! I was impressed with the small bits of new stuff he added. The humor was awesome and the acting was SO much better than Twilight! I came into it loving Edward, but left just a little bigger fan of Jacob (poor guy). Jacob was by far the best actor in the movie. I loved how Chris Wietz captured the sad moments. They just drew you in and you almost felt as though it was happening to you (yes, there were tears int he theater). I loved the way that the Vampired run (not so cheesy as in Twilight). Even thought the movie is over 2 hours long, it went by fast and I didn't want it to end!!! Overall, its just a much better movie. It was better directing and better acting and better EVERYTHING! This is a movie I can watch over and over again on repeat! Listening to the music almost makes me want to cry. The movie was so moving, and if you don believe me, go see it, even if you didn't like Twilight. I promise its so much better than Twilight! It so entertaining and you wont be bored!

I got home around 2:30am, but didnt fall aleep until 4 just because I was still so pumped up and excited! I am glad I get to see it again!

Now, you can make fun of me if you want, but if you have NOT read the books or seen the movie, I don't care what you think because you haven't given them a chance. This story is not for teenagers or teeny boppers, this is an amazing love story, and it actually surprises me that teenagers read it because to me its very deep. Stephanie Myers know how to write a good story! Bravo to everyone on the film. I cant wait to see it again tonight!... and then next week and every day after.

Updating

So Luke was sick with diarrhea and had thrown up three times over the last three days. We kept him home from church Sunday. He has no appetite and cried all. day. long! I knew he was feeling better today because his appetite was back to normal (eating everything in sight).

I have been really frustrated with my photography lately too. I am just not where I want to be and because I cant be great overnight, I am super frustrated and I get down on myself easily. On Sunday I just decided to go out and shoot pictures of Kylee. This seemed easy to me. Get her hair done nice (which is a miracle), put her cute outfit that aunt Becca got for her, and take her out and just go hog wild on the camera. It was fun at first. I got her hair done nice and got her dressed up. When I took her out, I would tell her "look this way," or "look over there." But she decided to ignore me and kept saying stuff like "I dont want to do that. How about I do this" and then she would say something different than what I said. I gave up and just started shooting pictures. Most of the time she wouldnt smile at me, and then when I asked her to smile she'd give me some silly face or smile real cheesy. *SIGH* I posted some of the pictures on my photography blog: www.cbphotographybellingham.blogspot.com I think it turned out quite well.

Tonight we went to Applebee's for dinner. We noticed these little tiny big bite looking things on Kylee's face and stomach. She had them when she woke up from her nap but the only thing that she complained about was itching. At dinner, the bumps got bigger and bigger and bigger! I have never seen anything like this. I took some pictures but havent uploaded them yet. I hope they go down with some cortisone cream and benedryl.

I Remembered Something...

When we were at Disneyland, after getting off a ride I asked Kylee is she had fun. She said "no." I said "you didnt have fun? Why?" She said back to me "Oh! I thought you asked if I had farted."

Thought I would share this. It makes me laugh every time I think about it.

Yesterday at lunch:

Kylee: "I was singing a honey song and then a bee came and so I ran inside."
