Funny Saying By Kylee

We were at walmart getting Top Ramen when she saw a convertible bug and she said "wow, whats a cool car! when i am a grandma, i will have one of those."

Then while eating top ramen, she said "ramen noodles are long. its no mystery!" (very knowingly)

She has been on a kick lately. It seems like everyday she says something really funny.

Demitri and some updates

Yesterday Rhett and I went to see Demitri Martin in Seattle. If you dont know who he is, look him up, you will LOVE him!!! I have never laughed so hard in my life! I thought at one point I was going to need an inhaler. My lungs and face hurt after seeing him. It almost made me want to be a groupie and fallow him everywhere. YOU DONT WANT TO MISS SEEING HIM LIVE!

Luke has been talking a lot more! Just the other night he said "nigh nigh" when we put him to bed! He can say banana ("anana"), bowby (we cant figure out if he's saying doggie or bowby), and Grandma Joy swears that he said "grandma." He still isnt walking. He takes two steps and then falls to his knees and crawls away. He did get another tooth! So now he has three on bottom and four on top.

Kylee slept with me while Rhett was gone last week. One night, I woke up and she wasnt there next to me. I started to freak out, just to realize she was down near my feet! MY FEET! She is a crazy sleeper. The last night she woke me up a couple times. One to tell me she needed to go to the bathroom, and then later at 3am, she was like "mom. MOM! When is dad going to get here?" She is so funny.

Just News and Random Thoughts

You know its time for a new blog post when you stop seeing people comment on your last one. Ha! Anyway, my grandparents have been in town for the last week and its been fun having them here. Although it makes me realize how I DONT WANT TO GET ANY OLDER! I have started waking up in the morning and one of my ankles hurts. THATS when you know you're getting older- you wake up and something hurts!

So Updates...

Luke eats like a pig and is growing like crazy. Kylee is enjoying school and we enrolled her in dancing classes for the fall. Rhett applied for another K9 position (which I really hope he gets because its great financially but he also gets a work truck!). PRAY HE GETS IT! I sell Stampin Up and Scentsy and so far Scentsy is off to a great start. I Have been doing Stampin Up for three years now and I have been able to stay afloat for those three years. Just this past month I got a notice that I will no longer be a Demonstrator unless I make $522 by September 30th! I started freaking out and decided its time for some at home parties. And I know how everyone hates them, so I started calling them workshops... Which technically they are different. I will be showing people how to make their own hand made cards. I sent almost 40 invitations out and I have only heard from 10 people saying they will come. I am hoping for a great turnout, but really hate when people dont RSVP!

Totally random: You know its time to get a tan when you put your makeup on and you like like Edward from Twilight. SAD!

Today I am doing my first wedding (as an intern) and I am excited but nervous. I will post pictures later. SOOO EXCITED though! I love the camera and love the beautiful images you can get from it. I love the final product and being creative. Its something that YOU create and can be proud of. Cant wait to see what comes from today.

I am finally getting used to my haircut. Not that I LOVE it, but I am finding ways to deal with it. If I ever want to cut my hair again STOP ME!

Indians Game and New (Ugly) Haircut

The other day Kylee was playing her computer games while I took a shower and Rhett was getting ready. When Rhett got out to check on Kylee she handed him a chunk of hair. He warned me not to freak out (he knows me so well) and when I came to look, I pretty much did! Kylee had CUT her hair- luckily its in a spot that is easy to hide with a ponytail.

This last week has been so freaking hot! Even Bowby slept on the floor where it was cooler. I dont blame him. Sometimes I felt like sleeping on the floor! We put Luke in our room for a couple nights because his room upstairs was so hot and didnt cool off during the night. We spend those couple of days driving around just so that we could have some A/C!

(below ) I was watching the kids take a bath and Kylee was hugging Luke and said "mom- go get your camera and take a picture! Take a picture mom!"

My haircut. Too long in the front, too short in the back. I asked her to cut it so could put it back in a ponytail... but thats a no go =( Also, I cant get my hair to look like what it does in the picture. Therefor, I hate it!

Don pay attention to my face. I am having really bad breakouts lately, so I am on medication and hopefully that will go away.

On one of the very hot days, the family, including the in-laws went to lake Paddon. The water was cold, the sun was hot and we had a great time catching up on celebrity gossip via trashy magazines. Luke loves to pretend to talk on the phone.

For Rhetts 30th birthday, his family got him Indians/ Mariners tickets. Rhett was super excited but was incredibly excited even more after the game was over because they SPANKED the Mariners! It was a little embarrassing when they would have home-runs because everyone EXCEPT Rhett was booing. Rhett would stand up and clap and I think there was a guy that would tell him to sit his "ass" down. We enjoyed the yummy food and the songs. I remembered how fun it is to go to a game, except afterwords when you are stuck in traffic for an hour!

We got the biggest kick out of this moose. It would do the weirdest stuff! We laughed so hard at him!

New Subject

So Rhett said no more sad blogs.

I am bored tonight and have been playing around with photoshop learning some new ticks n all. Then I realized I havent posted pictures of my last little adventures with the fam. My sister was up a week ago and we had fun berry picking and sight seeing and watching showings and movies.

To explain some of the pictures, Luke has been making weird faces lately. On the last day we took a trip to our home town of Issaquah and looked at the half a million dollar homes that we grew up in (although back then they weren't that expensive). Bowby has found a spot on our couch. After not allowing him on the couch for two years, we figured its about time... plus he looks so darn cute!

I miss my hair... =(

Terrible, Horrible, No Good Very Bad Day!

How do I explain to my kids that I am having a bad day?

To sum it all up, everything bad keeps happened.

And the one thing that topped it off was that we found out that the people who we swapped houses with needs to put their house up for sale. This means that if it does sell, we still have our house up for sale in AZ and we will alas be broke and homeless again.
