Should I Be Worried?!

For Christmas we got a Wii and Mariokart. Kylee has learned to play and is getting really good, but she plays all the time. I am starting to think, maybe I should be worried? Although, growing up, I used to play Nintendo ALL. THE. TIME.
I am so bored tonight. I really wish I had something to photoshop or to take pictures of or something. I guess its just one of those movie nights.

Late Afternoon Pictures

With this new photography comes an addiction... an addiction to take pictures and edit them. I am always looking for people or things to photograph (besides my kids). So last night I asked Rachel if I could maybe do some pictures of her or her friends. We planned on doing it some time this week, but since today wasnt raining, we decided to do the mini-shoot in the late afternoon. Let me tell you, IT WAS FREEZING! I felt like my hands were going to come off. It was only 40 degrees but it felt much much lower!
Anyway, the kids were pretty good sports about it. Kylee and Luke had better things to do than take pictures, so Rhett supervised while I finished the shoot with Rachel. She was a great model and I really love the turnout. You can view more of my pictures on my photography website tomorrow (www.courtneybowlden.com/blog)

Christmas Morning

Last night the Bowlden Bunch had dinner and played games. This is a part of the Holidays that I love. We always know how to have fun and we spend the entire time together laughing and joking around.

Last night when we put Kylee to bed we told her not to come out of her room until 7am. Rhett and I woke up at 6:55 am and walked up the stairs to Kylee's room to find that her door was open and she was wide awake. We asked her if she had been downstairs and she said yes. She saw everything. We missed that awesome expression on her face =(

Luke and Kylee both loved their gifts from Santa. They have been playing with them ALL DAY LONG!

Breaking News

This morning we woke up to a phone call at the hotel asking about our car. They informed us that our car had been broken into in the middle of the night. Rhett went down and checked it out. When he came back he told me that all of our electronics were still there and the only thing gone was some random boxes and a suitcase.
It sad that this happens, and I know I should be grateful that nothing major was taken, but all I can think of is my precious STUFF. Its just stuff, but it upsets me so much. Why?! They took Rhetts Border Patrol jackets and hats. They got off with two big camelback backpacks with stuff in it, like Rhetts 80 GB Ipod and a portable DVD player.
I wish I could talk more about it, but I am just so upset about it.

Christmas Is Almost Here!

Tuesday it started snowing, but by Wednesday it was warmed and it all went away. Yesterday it snowed slowly all day long, but last night it started pouring snowflakes! We let Ky play for a bit last night but put her in a warm bath afterwards. Today we woke up to her snow angel totally snowed over. This was Luke's first time playing in snow, and I almost didnt let him because he didnt have gloves, but it didnt stop him. He would get mad when he would get snow on his hands, but he sure loved walking around in it. My mom got those hats for Kylee and Luke. I thought they were cute, plus Luke even kept his on!

Thanksgiving Review

Luke walks around the house saying "mine" all the time. He also loves footballs. He can say football spot on, too! He has also learned how to say "no!" He says it a lot. And I am afraid to say that I believe he has hit the tantrum age early. No more little nice guy! But he sure is cute.
It snowed a little yesterday and Kylee enjoyed playing in it. It didnt stick to the ground but she said she caught some on her tongue, which is all that really matters.
I am still working on my photography and my business(es). I had the wonderful opportunity to do a baby shoot and three family shoots last week. I posted some of those pictures on my website: www.courtneybowlden.com

I hope everyone enjoyed heir Thanksgiving and black Friday! We went to a friends house for Thanksgiving. It was very yummy, and I really loves my wonderful friends.
