A Friends Wedding

Yesterday I went to my dear friends wedding and got to take some pictures for her. I am learning photoshop right now and I am having a blast with it so far. Its a lot of hard work though! Here are some of my favorite pictures. Which one is your favorite?

Hello Scentsy!

Some of you may know that just this past week I started selling Scentsy. I really missed doing something like this after Shade got rid of their personal shopper program. I have been looking for something that I really love and believe in and I think I found it in Scentsy. For those of who who dont know what Scentsy is, I have copied a statement I wrote from my website (www.scentsy.com/cbowlden)

"I am so excited to share Scentsy with you! There are so many wonderful things about using Scentsy. One of my favorite things is how safe it is for the family. Its lit by a low watt light bulb so the wax can liquefy, but it doesn't get hot enough to burn you if spilled (not to mention incredibly easy to clean!). Scentsy burners and wax are pet and kid safe as well. I also love how you can leave it on all day and night without worrying about turning it off. This is a great benefit you get from using Scentsy instead of a candle. You also get a strong scent from the wax and it covers a large area. I can smell the scent that's burning downstairs all the way up in my kids rooms!
The wax is reusable, so once you are done using one scent and want to switch it out for another, just poor the liquid wax into the container you took it out of and you are able to reuse it later! They are so inexpensive and they last forever. The wax burned at about 6 cents per minute, whereas a candle can burn at 28 cents a minute. I love our 3 pack of wax for $14. Its like getting three different candled for $14!!! If you don't have a lot of counter space we have wonderful wall plug ins. They work great as night lights or in bathrooms, too.
If you are interested in hosting a party please let me know so we can figure out a day we can get together. Parties are great for getting friends together and for earning free product. If you would like to earn free product but don't really want to host a party, we can do a little basket party, which is like a catalog party but with mini samplers so that people can get an idea of what scents they like.
I am really excited about Scentsy. I have been looking for something like this for a long time. In a way, I feel as though its a dream come true, as silly as that may sound. I know once you try Scentsy you wont go back to candles! You will see how wonderful our product is and how much it really has benefited your life and family. The other day I was changing my wax out for a different scent and I had some wax in a container drying and Kylee had bumped it and it spilled all over her hands. She wasnt burned and the wax that was on the counter top just peeled right off! Scentsy uses a soft was so thats its a lot easier to clean if spilled. I am SO sold on this product and I know that you guys will love it! My personal opinion is that everyone can benefit from it and everyone who loves candles will easily be addicted to Scentsy, as I have been. They have a lifetime return policy on the warmers and if you dont like a scent you get, you have 30 days to return it or exchange it. I AM SO FREAKING EXCITED!!!!

FIRST my sweet husband got us tickets tenth row back on the floor to Demitri Martin in August.

Our 4th

Our fourth of July was great! Rhett was working at the BP booth at the Blaine fair/parade, so we went up to see him. Kylee rode a pony, a train and got her face painted. After we headed home for a rest and then we went to Grandma Joy's for some Botchy Ball (not sure if I spelled that correctly) and fireworks. The sparklers were a big no no. Next year we wont be doing those. Rhett walked by me with one and an ash fell on my arm and burned a whole through my shirt. Yes it hurt, even though it was small.

We left around 9:30 and headed to Bellingham Bay and sat on the side of the road and watched the big fireworks. It was a blast, even though we didnt get home until 11pm! Hope you all enjoyed the fourth!

Its Been A Long Time Comin'

On an evening like this (after cleaning and organizing the house, running errands, being on me feet all day and working since 4:30 am) I feel like watching a movie and relaxing. But then when I look at the "To Do" list and I still have some unfinished things to do: Upload pictures and share on blog and list items on eBay. So here I am uploading pictures from weeks ago (and some from just the last couple of days) that I should have done but was too busy to do. I hope you enjoy at the expense of me not being able to watch a movie. He he he =) I am sure I'll get around to it. ITS A THREE DAY WEEKEND! Oh wait, every weekend is a three day weekend for me. HA!

So just to update on the pictures below, the last couple days we have gone to the local water parks (which are free and so fun for the kids) with friends. The weather has been nice, even though the wind has been a little chilly. Luke and Kylee got a little burned on the first day we went with out friends to the park. I felt horrible about it too! I think I got burned way worse than they did though! UGH, the pain and the embarrassment of a farmers tan! LOL

WATCHING TV

THIS MADE ME LAUGH! BOTH OF MY KIDS FELL ASLEEP IN THE CAR RIGHT AS WE PULLED UP TO THE HOUSE. TOO CUTE!

KYLEE GOT TO FEED THE ROOSTERS AND CHICKENS AT THE FERNDALE FARM. THE GENTLEMAN ASKED HER TO HELP. IT WAS FUN FOR HER, AND REALLY NICE TO SEE HER HELP OUT.

WE HAD A FUN PLAY DATE WITH SOME FRIENDS AT THE PARK A COUPLE WEEKS AGO. THE ADULTS PLAYED ULTIMATE FRISBEE, WHICH IS A BLAST! AFTERWORD, THE KIDS CAME TO OUR HOUSE AND HUNG OUT FOR A BIT. THEY WERE SO CUTE!

LUKE LOOOOVES EATING BANANAS AND ALL KINDS OF FOOD! THANK GOODNESS HE EATS BASICALLY ANYTHING, BECAUSE I WOULD GO CRAZY IF I HAD ANY MORE PICKY EATERS (KYLEE AND RHETT)

WE HAD A WARD (NOT REALLY OUR WARD, BUT WE STILL WENT) PICNIC AT THE LAKE. KYLEE HAD FUN EVEN THOUGH IT WAS FREEZING AND THE WATER WAS COLD AS WELL.

I LOVE WASHINGTON!
