From The Heart

Today was Kylee's 4th Birthday party. I had told several of my friends about it and wasnt expecting a lot of people just because its spring break and a lot of people forget about stuff. ButI was shocked at how many people showed up. My heart was so full of gratitude and appreciation to all those who showed up and supported Kylee today. There was even a moment I just wanted to burst into tears with happiness and thankfulness. I consider myself incredibly lucky to have known so many fantsic, wonderful people here in Roswell. I just want to thank all of you who came and for your friendship and love you have shown me and my family here. I am not even sure if you will read this, but my heart is so full and I need to write you and tlel you how much it meant not only to me, but to Kylee. We are really going to miss it here (I never thought I would say that), but I have met such wonderful people here. I am sure we will be back, and we hope that you all will still be here. It will be a great reunion!

WE'RE GOING HOME!!!

Rhett's detail here has come to and end alittle early. I am having some very bitter-sweet moments. I love my sweet friends here, but I am ready to come home. We will be back sometime the first week of April. AHHH!!! I am so excited!!!!

last night i got a brand new nikon D60 (thanks to my FANTASTIC husband) and i am in love!!! i feel like i can finally produce pictures the way i want them to look. i have been messing around with it and taking some online tutorials. busy busy day! ha! 

anyway, thought you'd like to see some fun stuff. the weather has been so nice here and the last three days kylee has played in the sprinklers in the back yard. luke is still teething and has a pretty nasty cough still.

Kylee's New Words and Update

So on Monday we found a bigger place to move and on Tuesday and Wednesday we moved. Since we came here with just our stuff in the back of the car, it didnt take very long. I am sore and wish every move could be that quick and easy. I think when I go back to WA I am going to have to have a major garage sale. I have come to realize I dont need as much stuff as I do.

I went and saw Slumdog Millionaire for the 2nd time last night. I would see it over and over and over again. Its the best movie I've have seen in such a long time. Its very refreshing. It deserved every single award it one, too... If not more =) If you dont go see it, I will send Chris Brown after you (okay, just kidding). Seriously, its such an amazing movie. The kids and actors are just adorable! For being the first film, they did such an amazing job!!! The music is mind blowing (and yes I had to get the soundtrack- I listen to it every day). IT IS NOT A MUSICAL and IT NOT A BALLIWOOD type movie. Its a film about family, friendship, love, betrayal and everything that makes for a great movie. This has become #1 in my favorites (well, maybe tied for 1st place with The Color Purple). If you dont watch rated R movies, you still need to go see it, cos its only rated R for images (real life in India). No nudity, no language, just real life. It will change the way you see your life.

Again, we are all sick here. Didnt we just get over a cold? Luke has been teething, now he's sick. I am starting to think he's either the unluckiest baby or he's just always unhappy. I think this winter we have accumulated more viruses than ever before. 

Out of nowhere, Kylee has been shortening words. We noticed this t=just the other night. I am not sure where she picked it up either. Here are just a few things she says:

unbuck = unbuckle

ba = bath

din = dinner

I will add more later.

We Have A Tooth!!!!

So Luke has been really clingy to me lately. I can see his teeth up top trying to come in. They are puffy looking and going through this once before I know what this all looks like. This morning I checked Luke's lower gums and sure enough his bottom left has cut through the gums! Poor guy.

Visitors (but not from outerspace)

My grandparents have been visiting since Thursday. Its been nice having them around and to play with the kids. Kylee loves her Popo and Momo. They will be here until this Wednesday. Here are some pictures of our adventures.
