Belated Valentines

Here are a few pictures from what we've been up to the last couple weeks. Sorry its taken so long to post them. 

Luke just got out of the bath, but he has a cute little mohawk like his daddy. (Kylee wasnt behaving, so she isnt in the pictures)

Kylee wanted to make Valentine's cards (this one is for Auntie Rachie) and when I asked her what it was, she said "it's a walking potato." There were more walking potato's, even some with spots!

it took me 10 times to get this shot. my camera was either out of focus, Kylee was blinking, Luke was blinking or something else. but aren't they cute? (even with Kylee's wild hair?)

Kylee must have a little OCD in her. I found her lining up her shoes in her closet the other day. Then I found this. I dont know what it is. She says its "follow the leader."

we introduced those biscuits to Luke and he LOVES them. unfortunately, they are super messy!

Kylee's hair is quite messy and fine, so I have attempted several times at braiding her hair. Sometimes it takes a very long time, but I have been trying to braid her hair every day to keep it out of her face... Plus its super cute!

Kylee really enjoyed making cookies and cupcakes with mommy. She designs them and made a huge mess. 

The Dentist

Kylee went to her first dentist appointment today. She did very well and was very well behaved. She has all of her teeth coming in, too. Just a matter of time before we see a wiggly tooth. Also, her teeth look like they might come in a bit crooked, but the dentist said that may change once they come in. She doesnt have any cavities... Yay!!! I would feel so bad if she did. Anyway, she got some free stuff and doesnt look like shes afraid of the dentist like I am.

Are You Kidding Me?!

Two weeks ago we just got better from a cold... and now we have another one. Kylee doesnt seem to have one, but myself, Rhett and Luke are getting the early signs. This really sucks! More so for Luke, because he doesnt sleep at all and he always wants to be held when hes sick. 

He's Really Crawling!!!!

No more worm or breast stroke... Luke is really crawling. He was crawling just a little last night, but all day today! He's much faster too. 

I just got back from the dentist today, and yes, I survived. I havent gotten any kind of mouth work done since I got my wisdom teeth out 7 years ago and that was brutal!!! I got laughing gas cos I was so nervous and man was that nice! I didnt like it at first cos it makes me tingle and feel weird, but after I closed my eyes and really started breathing, it was wonderful. I think its the closest thing to a near death experience. I feel like I am floating above my body. I can everything, but nothing is registering in m brain. Anyway, needless to say I am not so afraid of dentist anymore... Although my mouth is a little sore probably from chewing on one side.

25 Random Things About Me

I got tagged today on Facebook to do this. Thanks Rachel ;) I have been trying to avoid this, just cos if I am tagged, I feel like I am obligated to do it. 

1- I am a total germaphobe. My fears have grown much bigger the older I get. Maybe its cos I am more aware.

2- Though I am quite outgoing, I am incredibly self-conscious and insecure.

3- When I was younger I used to think that if I "acted" all the time, maybe an agent would notice me and put me in a film. That was always, and still, is a dream of mine. Thats probably why I was such a strange kid... I was always "acting." Ha ha.

4- I love to sing, and would love to make an album, but I dont really like the sound of my voice. I dont think I have ever told anyone that.

5- Growing up, I knew I was meant to be a mother. When I found out I was pregnant with Kylee, I have never been more terrified in my life. 

6- I hate confrontation and when I get angry, I tend to cry.

7- I have always wanted to speak French. Its so beautiful.

8- I love movies and film. I feel like I am a pretty good movie buff. 

9- I love to laugh... really hard, to the point of crying. 

10- I have recently found a new addiction... Diet Coke. 

11- I love my family so much. I love the bond that we have. I really wanted Kylee to have a sister so that she could experience the bond that I have with my sister. But I am glad I have Luke, and I know Kylee and Luke will be very close growing up.

12- I LOVE, truly LOVE, Nordstrom. I think I fell in love when I was younger and my dad would take me there. I blame my dad for my obsession.

13- I may scrapbook, make cards and digital scrapbook, but I do not consider myself crafty. I am very hard on myself and have a high expectation for things.

14- I am terrified of big cities but I love them at the same time. They fascinate me.

15- I love romantic stuff, but real cheesy stuff bug me so bad. 

16- I hate lipstick

17- I used to write poetry, and would love to get back to my roots some day and write a book. Its been several years since I wrote anything.

18- I envy my sisters beauty, but whats new?!

19- I am obsessed with Disneyland. Just ask my family.

20- My eyes are my favorite feature.

21- I think I love music too much. Its tough to explain. 

22- I love cooking, the motions of cooking, but I hate my food. Its easier to eat other peoples food.

23- My parents divorce was the best thing that happened in my life. I love my step parents so much and couldnt imagine my life any other way. 

24- I used to fly ALL THE TIME when I was younger, but I am terrified of planes now that I am older. Again, I think its because I am more aware.

25- I hate doing these things. I always tell people too much and then regret later.
